Madeleine Price, the founder of Account On Us, LLC, was born and raised in Pleasanton, California. Madeleine has her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California.

After eight years of corporate accounting in Silicon Valley, Madeleine moved to Raleigh in 2002 and started Account On Us, LLC in 2003. With over 25 years of accounting experience, Madeleine works with clients to help them find the best accounting, payroll and tax solution that meets their needs.

Madeleine is also a huge animal lover and is very passionate about animal rights. In her spare time, Madeleine loves to travel to exotic destinations with her husband, Eddie, hang out with friends and play the drums.

Joe Hicks became a part of the Account On Us team in July, 2020 and is an Enrolled Agent (EA).

He has over 15 years in the accounting industry and a background in client/staff development and training, bookkeeping, payroll, business consulting, and tax for both individual and business.

His experience includes a background of clients in a variety of fields from Photography, Legal, Medical, Entertainment, Real Estate, and many others.

With a vast knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Online, he can assist with training, cleanup, and implementation of processes to meet your business needs. Some would say he is a “Jack of All Trades, and a Master of Some”. 😊

For fun, he enjoys movies, games, and spending time with family and friends.

Jill Pluim joined Account on Us in January 2021. She is a staff accountant with over 20 years’ experience in personal and small business tax returns.

Jill is the extremely rare Triangle area native, she grew up in Chapel Hill, graduated from UNC-CH, then continued to live and work in the Triangle area.

In her spare time, Jill enjoys gaming with friends, playing volleyball, and spending time with her numerous pets.

Otis was rescued on May 5th, 2017 from the Dog Meat Trade in China. He was a stolen pet, rescued from a truck transporting 660 dogs that were headed to a slaughterhouse where he would have been tortured and killed for his meat. He spent the next year being rehabilitated by a wonderful rescue organization in China called No Dogs Left Behind (www.nodogsleftbehind.com). In June of 2018, Madeleine and her husband, Eddie Carapezza adopted Otis and he flew from China to Raleigh, NC.

Otis spends every day at the Account On Us, LLC office.

Beau was rescued in August 2019 from the Dog Meat Trade in China. He was a stolen pet sold to a slaughterhouse in China. After being rescued, Beau ended up in a quarantine facility in China before being moved to the No Dogs Left Behind sanctuary in Beijing. In November 2019 he was adopted by Madeleine and her husband Eddie. When he arrived in America he had a broken leg that healed incorrectly so ultimately his front leg had to be amputated. He does amazingly well without it and is a wonderful addition to the family. We all love him!
